Forged wheels are made of high-strength ductile iron QT700. The forging process plasticizes the metal blank through high temperature and pressure, making the wheel structure dense, grains refined, and eliminating casting defects (such as pores, slag inclusions, etc.), thereby significantly improving the wheel’s strength, toughness, and fatigue life. They are very suitable for European-style gantry cranes with high frequency, high load, and large-span operation, such as single-girder, double-girder, and semi-gantry cranes.
